Autumn Wind (秋风图) is a 1988 pastoral painting by Li Keran, inspired by Lu You’s poetic line "Another autumn comes easily," reflecting the artist’s late-year nostalgia and love for tranquil rural life. Li Keran was one of the most important modern Chinese ink wash painters, famous for his landscapes and pastoral ox paintings. Li Keran uses concise, elegant ink brushwork to depict the quiet autumn scene, with soft washes creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere.The work’s greatest charm lies in its understated beauty and gentle poetic mood, perfectly capturing the subtle feeling of autumn breeze.
