Buying & Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PayPal, and bank transfer for orders over USD 2,000. All transactions are secured via Stripe.
Can I buy a work as a gift?
Yes. At checkout you can enter a separate delivery address. We can also include a handwritten gift note — just add your message in the order notes field.
Do you offer payment plans?
For works over USD 1,500, we offer a three-instalment plan with no interest. Contact our advisory team to arrange this before placing your order.
What currency do you charge in?
All prices are displayed and charged in USD. Your bank may apply a foreign exchange fee if your card is in a different currency.
Authenticity & Provenance
How do I know a work is authentic?
Every work is sourced directly from the artist or their official studio. We provide a Certificate of Authenticity with each purchase, signed by both the artist and Kiln & Ink.
Do you sell prints or reproductions?
We sell original works and limited-edition artist prints (woodblock, lithograph, screenprint) where each print in the edition is hand-finished by the artist. We do not sell photographic reproductions.
Can I get a work independently appraised?
Yes. We encourage collectors to seek independent appraisal and are happy to provide all documentation needed. Contact us and we'll share the artist's full provenance file.
Shipping & Delivery
How long does delivery take?
Most orders arrive within 7–12 business days internationally, and 2–5 days within Asia. Large ceramics and framed works may take longer due to specialist packing. See our full Shipping page for details.
Is shipping insured?
Yes. All works are fully insured during transit for their full purchase value at no extra cost to you.
Do I pay import duties?
Original artworks attract reduced or zero import duty in many countries. Any applicable duties are the buyer's responsibility. We provide all customs documentation to simplify the process.
Returns & After-Sale
Can I return a work I've purchased?
Yes. We offer a 14-day return window for all standard purchases. The work must be returned in its original condition and packaging. Auction sales are final.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please photograph the damage and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange collection and either replacement or full refund, including shipping costs.
Do you offer framing or mounting?
We can arrange professional framing for scroll paintings and prints through our Hong Kong partners. Contact us after purchase for a quote.
